The city of Yazd is located halfway between Isfahan and Kerman, in the center of Iran. This historical city is famous for its beautiful architecture and quality carpets. Carpets have been made here for over 400 years and the city was one of the earliest carpet weaving sites granted by the royal workshop of the Safavid Dynasty.
